The Florida Keys- Marathon

Our Florida Keys adventure continues in Marathon, about an hour drive south of Key Largo and a little over an hour away from Key West. 

The Courtyard Marathon Florida Keys is easily one of our top five favorite places to stay. The rooms are lovely, the pools and view are beautiful, and they offer fun courtyard activities for the kids. 

Our room was in the newly built marina tower overlooking the marina pool and bay. We booked this stay a bit last minute so we had a room with two double beds. Given that Linc is still  little we could swing it because he slept in an oversized chair with the ottoman pushed against it. I would recommend choosing a suite option, which is essentially joining rooms at this property, if you are a large family. 

The infinity pool surrounded by tropical plants, native iguanas, and hammocks swinging by the bay is certainly the highlight of this location. 

I wish we had booked another night or two just to enjoy the hotel. The boys had a great time playing with the outdoor games that the hotel had set up. We made the best of the time we had but our days were filled with exploring Bahia State Park and Key West.

We had a great overall experience and highly recommend making this your destination for any visit to the Florida Keys. Top notch experience, add this to your list!
