Lincoln discovered a beautiful fruit tree in the backyard. He immediately picked the last giant softball sized beauty and proudly carried it around for the entire day. He was so impressed with his orange and couldn’t wait to slice it open.
Surprise- it is a lemon! A Meyer Lemon to be exact. These trees are a hybrid lemon and orange or mandarin. Not at all what we were expecting. Naturally, when life gave us lemons…we made lemonade!!
After a little research I feel like we’re going to enjoy having these neat little trees for years to come.
